Overview
Northern continues to expand and extend its pipeline system to meet growing market demands of Northern’s customers in the Midwest. Since 2007, Northern has successfully completed multiple expansions in its market area reflecting approximately 667,000 dekatherms per day of incremental customer growth.

About Us
Northern is based in Omaha, Nebraska, and operates an interstate natural gas pipeline extending from the Permian Basin in Texas to the Upper Midwest. The system includes the following.
- 14,300 miles of natural gas pipeline
- 6.3 Bcf/day of Market Area design capacity plus 1.7 Bcf/day of Field Area capacity
- Five natural gas storage facilities with a total firm and operational capacity of 75 Bcf and an additional 4 Bcf of liquefied natural gas
