Colder than normal
weather is forecast across Northern's Market Area throughout the remainder of
January with severe weather expected across the entire system beginning as
early as Friday, January 23, 2026. 



At this time, Northern
does not anticipate any impact to firm deliveries provided that adequate supply
is nominated and confirmed. Customers affected by the current Force Majeure receipt
point restrictions are encouraged to schedule alternative supplies to remain in
balance with delivered volumes. The outage has restricted the ability to use
the Wrenshall LNG facility to support peak loads south of Carlton, Minnesota,
and reduced Northern's operational flexibility to manage imbalances.



These severe conditions
create an increased risk of reduced receipts at pipeline interconnects across
both the Market and Field Areas. To the extent this occurs, Northern may be required
to allocate underperforming receipt points to actual flowing volumes. Northern
will monitor anticipated receipt and delivery balance to maintain the integrity
of the pipeline system. To the extent deliveries exceed receipts, Northern may be
required to call a Critical Day.



If a Critical Day is
declared, shippers taking deliveries in excess of scheduled quantities may
incur higher penalties as outlined in Tariff
Part 4, Section 8, and on the DDVC
rates page on Northern's website.
