      Northern
made two separate rate filings with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in
Northern's rate case proceeding in Docket No. RP25-989: (1) 
      
        
          Base Case Rates; and (2)
      
        
          Interim Rates.The Federal Energy
Regulatory Commission must act to accept the rates. Northern's proposal is to
move the Base Case Rates into effect on January 1, 2026, but to charge the
lower Interim Rates effective on that date, January 1, 2026, subject to
Northern's right to terminate the Interim Rates and place the Base Case Rates
in effect prospectively on 30-days' notice.
    
    


    
      
    
    


    
      The Base
Case Rates tariff filing was submitted in compliance with the Commission's July
31, 2025, suspension order in this proceeding requiring Northern to motion in
the filed Base Case Rates, subject to adjustments for costs associated with
