8:00 AM Non-Grid Final Nomination Process Guidelines

The 8:00 AM process is to be used for shippers who have contracted for storage services with NNG. The following are the parameters available for this process.

Using storage to true up to burns at TBS and Zones

  1. Shipper must have the nomination in TMS by 8:00 AM, CCT.
  2. Transactions through pooling points are not allowed in this process.
  3. Capacity type changes are not allowed (i.e. primary or secondary to overrun OR overrun to primary or secondary).
  4. Shipper are allowed multiple swing points per contract per day for injecting or withdrawing excess supplies into storage, as capacity allows.
  5. When nominating swing point, shipper must utilize previous scheduled volumes (i.e. Intra-day 2 scheduled volumes). This requires shipper to match any scheduling cuts received in the Intra-day 2 process.
  6. When nominating to a third party TBS or Zone, shipper must notify operator of the nomination change to ensure operator confirms new nomination.
  7. Third party operator MUST confirm nomination by 8:30 AM, CCT. If Operator does not confirm the nomination, the previous scheduled volume will be used as the confirmation.
  8. If shipper is also the operator, shipper’s nomination will automatically become the confirmed volume.
  9. No increases are allowed at physical allocated points.
  10. At the storage point, no increases/decreases are allowed at the allocated point when the result would increase the magnitude of the Intra-day 2 allocation.

Please make sure nominated volumes for injections and/or withdrawals on transportation contract match nominated volumes on storage contract, as the lesser of rule will be used during balancing.

Physical receipts to physical deliveries nominated after 5:00 PM

  1. Shipper must have the nomination in TMS by 8:00 AM, CCT.
  2. Must be approved by Gas Control.
  3. Must be flowing, confirmed, and scheduled at both receipt and delivery points on Intra-day 2 process.
