Northern Facilities
Northern's system has two distinct rate areas. Market Area is the portion of Northern's system north of Clifton, Kansas (demarcation point). Northern delivers supply to geographically dispersed markets located in the upper Midwest. Field Area is the portion of Northern's system south of Clifton, Kansas. It consists of a vast network of transmission facilities that connect to gathering systems in major production basins. Northern connects to virtually all major interstate and intrastate pipelines in the field area.
